Features of the Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet
Lightweight Polycarbonate Shell
The Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet is constructed from a lightweight polycarbonate shell that is extremely durable and protective.
The shell is made from a polycarbonate ABS material that is designed to withstand impact and provide maximum protection for the rider.
Ventilation System
The ventilation system on the Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet is designed to provide maximum airflow and comfort for the rider.
The helmet features a 1-slot up ventilation system that can be opened or closed, allowing for customized airflow.
When the vent is open, the air is directed up into the helmet and through holes in the face shield, which helps to prevent fogging.
The vent also provides fresh air to the chin bar area of the helmet, keeping the rider cool and comfortable.
Moving up to the top of the helmet, there is an additional brow vent that allows air to come in and over the crown of the rider’s head, providing additional ventilation during hot weather.
Bell Qualifier DLX MIPS Visor
One of the standout features of the Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet is its transition shield. This photochromatic shield is designed to darken when the rider is in direct sunlight and lighten when they enter shaded areas.
The shield is completely clear when it is dark outside, allowing for maximum visibility. This shield is ideal for riders who frequently travel through areas with changing lighting conditions.
MIPS Technology
In addition to being DOT and ECE rated, the Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet also features MIPS technology. This technology is designed to reduce rotational force during impact, which can help to prevent head and brain injuries.
The MIPS component is located at the base of the helmet, where it meets the EPS liner. This slip system allows the rider’s head to move and shift inside the helmet during an impact, reducing the force of the impact on the brain.
Interior of the Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet
The interior of the Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet is designed for maximum comfort and customization. The microfiber padding is soft and hand-washable, providing a comfortable fit for the rider.
The cheek pads are held in place by three snaps on each side, while the comfort liner is held in place by two at the front and two at the back.
One unique feature of the cheek pads is a mesh pocket on the inside of each ear cup that allows for easy installation of helmet headset speakers.
This allows riders to listen to music or communicate with other riders while wearing the helmet.
The chin skirt on the Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet can be easily removed by unsnapping it from the helmet.
However, it is recommended that riders keep the chin skirt in place, as it helps to prevent wind from coming up underneath the helmet and disrupting the airflow.
Fit and Design of the Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet
The Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet is available in a range of sizes, from extra small to 3XL. The helmet features three shell sizes and three EPS sizes, providing a customizable fit for riders of all shapes and sizes.
Bell Qualifier DLX MIPS weight
The Bell Qualifier MIPS weighs in at 3.34 lbs.

While the helmet is more round than oval in shape, it offers a great fit for most riders. The chin bar area is tighter fitting than some other helmets in the Bell lineup, but the overall fit is still comfortable for most riders.
Glasses can be worn inside the helmet, but riders with thicker-framed glasses may find it difficult to fit them inside. The helmet also features large speaker cutouts on both sides, allowing for easy Sena or Cardo unit installation.
Finally, the Bell Qualifier DLX Helmet has a sleek and stylish design that is sure to turn heads. Its 360-degree view showcases the helmet’s design and features, allowing riders to see every angle of this high-quality helmet.

What Our Test Rider Thought
I have been using the Biltwell Gringo, and it’s a great helmet but has zero ventilation. I finally decided to get something to help keep my head cool in the hot summers, and this helmet is perfect!!
It has plenty of vents and is easy to open and close on the road. Then when it comes to a transition lens, you know you can’t go wrong!!
It fits true to size, has a great field of view, and has pockets for speakers. I couldn’t think of anything else I’d need in a helmet.
There was one thing that disappointed me, and that is the helmet was a little load. I tried it with earplugs which made it a little better, but I would try and get a full test with it before you buy.
