Key Takeaways

- Good value protective features
- It is decent overall but runs hot
Sedici Avventura WP Women’s Gloves – The Verdict
For all-around protective gloves under $100, the Cedici Aventura waterproof women’s gloves hit a sweet spot.
They’re ideal for commuting and touring riders who want occasional weather protection without breaking the bank. Just don’t expect premium features and ventilation at this price point.
I gave the Aventuras 4 out of 5 stars in my review. If you ride in warmer weather, sizing up or wearing summer gloves is recommended.
Overall though, these affordable gloves offer good functionality for daily use in varying conditions.

The Cedici Aventura gloves provide waterproof protection for riding in the rain. They use a combination of stretch panels and goatskin leather for flexibility, while the gauntlet-style cuff keeps water out.
Other features include:
- Touchscreen-compatible fingertips
- TPR knuckle armor
- Double-layer palm

These gloves cater to female riders and cost around $60.
Sizing and Fit
I normally wear gloves that are an extra small size. After checking the size chart, I ordered an XS, and the fit was spot on.
The Aventuras have two velcro wrist closures for a snug, adjustable fit. The stretch panels and articulated fingers offer great mobility, too.
Overall, the size chart is accurate. Order your usual glove size.

Construction and Materials
Cedici uses a mix of materials on these gloves:
- Goatskin leather – On high abrasion areas like the palm and outer fingers
- Stretch fabric – On the backhand and finger backs
- TPU armor – Over the knuckles
- Foam reinforcements – On the wrist and heel of the palm
The combination results in a glove that resists abrasion while remaining flexible for comfort.
The waterproof yet breathable Hydramembrane liner also keeps hands dry without getting overly hot.
Features and Protection
Waterproof and Breathable Membrane
The Hydramembrane liner blocks moisture from the outside while allowing sweat vapor to escape. It works decently well, although very warm summer riding can still cause some interior fogging.
Reflective Piping
Reflective piping on the fingers and backhand improves visibility at night.
Double Layer Palm
Extra leather on the grip area protects against abrasion from the handlebars.
Knuckle Armor
The thermoplastic (TPU) knuckle protector absorbs and disperses impact through the fingers. It’s fairly flexible, too.
Crash Pads
Foam padding on the heel and side of the palm cushions during slides.
Touchscreen-Compatible Fingertips
You can use touchscreens without removing the gloves. This worked flawlessly for me.
Pro & Con’s
Pros
- Good protection for the price
- Waterproof and breathable liner
- Touchscreen-compatible
- Adjustable wrist closure
- Reflective details
Cons
- Runs hot in very warm weather
- It is not as protective as premium track gloves
