Works in Intermediate to Hard Terrain

The Sedona MX887IT Hard-Intermediatet, dirt bike tires are specifically engineered to excel in intermediate to hard terrains.

Whether you’re tackling rocky surfaces or compacted dirt, these tires offer remarkable performance and reliability.

Dimpled Transition Knobs for Added Bite

One of the standout features of the MX887IT tires is the inclusion of dimpled transition knobs. These specialized knobs enhance traction by providing additional bite, allowing for improved control and maneuverability on various track surfaces.

Symmetrical Tread Pattern

The symmetrical tread pattern of the MX887IT tires ensures consistent performance in all directions.

This design choice allows for equal traction and stability, whether accelerating, cornering, or braking, ultimately enhancing the overall riding experience.

Dual Compound Tread for Optimal Traction and Wear

With a dual compound tread, the Sedona MX887IT tires perfectly balance traction and wear resistance.

This innovative design ensures maximum grip while extending the lifespan of the tires, making them a cost-effective choice for riders who demand both performance and longevity.

Rigid 4-Ply Rated Carcass Design

The MX887IT tires feature a rigid 4-ply rated carcass design that reduces sidewall flex, providing a more planted feel. This construction enhances stability and responsiveness, allowing riders to push their limits confidently.

Reversible Tread Pattern for Versatility

The reversible tread pattern and symmetrical knob design of the Sedona MX887IT tires offers a remarkable advantage – equal traction in both forward and reverse directions. This versatility ensures optimal grip regardless of the track layout or riding style.

Superior Side Knob Grip at Extreme Angles

When it comes to extreme angles, the MX887IT tires truly shine. The side knobs on these tires provide superior grip, giving riders exceptional control and confidence in challenging off-camber situations.

My Experience With This Tire

I found the tires to be of a softer compound, prone to warping, and quicker to wear out. In my experience, the MX887 was thinner compared to other brands I had previously used on my XR650R.

I did find this tire did offer excellent traction. However, I did have difficulties in mounting these tires, and I think that the tires’ stiff composition was a significant drawback.

In my case, opting for cheaper options might lead to greater expense in the long run.
