Klim Krios Pro Features
Klim Krios Pro Shell
The Klim Krios Pro is a top-of-the-line adventure helmet that offers an unbeatable combination of features, comfort and protection.
The shell is constructed from lightweight carbon fiber with multiple layers for added strength. It has a low-profile design which helps reduce wind noise and fatigue during long rides.
Klim Krios Pro Wind Noise
A few of my friends found the Klim Krios Pro a bit noisy, or at least noisier than most similar helmets they’ve tried, but that was not my experience. I found the Krios to be a very quiet helmet, although I always use earplugs, so that might have been the difference.
In a road test, we found the Klim Krios Pro did very well in terms of wind noise, with about 98 decibels in the helmet. The Koroyd liner used in the helmet may be responsible for the noise level.
It’s important to note that noise levels can vary depending on factors such as wind speed and direction. When facing directly into the wind with my head held level as it would be on a standard-style riding position motorcycle, I found that the Klim Krios Pro was at its quietest.
Ventilation
The ventilation system consists of 20 air intakes, which can be adjusted to provide optimum airflow and cooling. Inside the helmet are removable cheek pads made from breathable mesh fabric for increased comfort.
Klim Krios Pro Sizing
When it comes to sizing, the Klim Krios Pro Adventure Helmet offers a range of sizes that fit any head size.
The helmet is available in three sizes: small (53-54 cm), medium (55-57cm), and large (58-60cm). It’s important to ensure you get the right size for your head, as this will ensure a comfortable fit and optimal protection.

SM | 55 – 56 |
MD | 57 – 58 |

Klim Krios Pro Face Shield

The adjustable face shield also has an easy-release mechanism, so you can easily switch out lenses or change up your look quickly.
Its three-dimensional design allows airflow to pass through while still providing full protection from wind and debris, making it comfortable even during intense riding conditions.
Plus, its one-handed quick release makes putting it on or taking it off effortless – which is great if you’re transitioning between climates or activities frequently. All in all, this top-quality shield will keep you safe and looking good for years to come!

My Likes And Dislikes
I love how lightweight the helmet is being and how it compares to other helmets like the Shoei Hornet X2, which I find heavier.
Although this helmet is a little louder at higher speeds, I prefer its lightweight over the heavier Shoei helmet.
I’m also quite impressed with the transition shield and its ventilation system that allows air to flow through it.
Additionally, I found the helmet to be extremely comfortable. However, the sizing of the helmet is an issue for me. Despite wearing a 2XL size in both Shoei and Arai helmets, the 2XL Krios Pro wouldn’t fit past the crown of my head, which is disappointing.
Additionally, the cheek pads didn’t fit flush with the shell, which required me to cut them to get them to fit properly.
Despite these issues, I’m very satisfied with this helmet, especially since I’m able to wear goggles with it during off-road adventure rides, and I’m pleased to have found a helmet that’s significantly lighter than my previous one, reducing fatigue on my neck and shoulders during long rides.
Conclusion
I’ll start with the Klim Krios Pro Shell. The shell of this helmet is made from a lightweight and durable polycarbonate, making it incredibly light – yet very strong.
It’s designed to fit snugly around your head for maximum protection without being too bulky or uncomfortable. I was impressed by its sleek design; that looks great on any rider!
Next up is sizing; the Klim Krios Pro comes in three sizes (small, medium, and large), so you can find the perfect fit.
Once I had my size figured out, I found the helmet comfortable and secure enough that I could forget about it while riding.
Finally, we have the face shield; this one has an anti-fog coating that keeps my vision clear no matter how hard I rode. Plus, it’s scratch resistant, which ensures it stays looking good even after long rides off road.
As far as safety ratings go, the Klim Krios Pro meets all DOT standards – meaning you can feel confident knowing that you’re wearing reliable protection whenever you ride.
All in all, I’m really happy with my new Klim Krios Pro adventure helmet! It fits well, looks great, offers plenty of protection, and features a fog-free shield – what more could you ask for? Highly recommended!
