I'm sorry to hear the Metzler 888 tires didn't work out for you on your Harley Ultraclassic. It's disappointing when you try a new product with high hopes and it doesn't meet expectations.

Fishtailing when pulling a trailer can be really scary. It makes sense you want to switch back to a tire that gives you more stability. The Dunlops have a good reputation for being sturdy and reliable.

Switching between tire brands and models is always a bit of trial and error to find the right fit for your particular bike and riding style. I hope you're able to get many more miles out of your next set! Let us know if you find something that gives you the performance and longevity you're looking for.

Tried the Metzler 888 on my ultraclassic hoping to get more than 5000 miles out of it, and I am very disappointed that I didn't. There was definitely an improvement in cornering and smoothness, but the bike just seemed way to loose. I also ran into issues with the bike fish tailing when I pulled my trailer. Never had that issue with the stock dunlop.
